Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely not. We will mask and sheet off  your cabinets and their contents, saving you the hassle of having to remove your items and find space to store them. This is just one of the ways we provide hassle free kitchen transformations

We would recommend using warm water and a soft non abrasive microfibre cloth.

We DO NOT recommend using bleach or other harsh chemicals on your newly sprayed kitchen.

Absolutely! Using dustless sanding equipment, we can sand back and prime these surfaces to fix old brush marks and drips, leaving you with a smooth, high-quality factory finish.

While our factory-standard finish is highly durable, we understand that accidents happen in a busy home. To help, John and Samantha provide a complimentary touch-up kit with every project for minor nicks. Because your kitchen is modular, we can also return to refinish individual doors or sections at a small, nominal cost. This ensures your kitchen remains flawless without the need for a full respray, even years down the line.

In line with our own Environmental and Sustainability Policies, we will only ever use Low VOC, water based paints when spraying interior kitchens. There will be no fumes or strong chemical smells generated from our works. During the spraying process, we will wear appropriate masks for application and use extractor units and/or natural ventilation in line with health and safety legislation.

Kitchen spraying, also known as kitchen respraying or refinishing, involves applying a new coat of paint or finish to your existing kitchen cabinets, cupboards, or surfaces to refresh their appearance.

Kitchen spraying is a cost-effective way to update the look of your kitchen without the expense of completely replacing cabinets. It's also more eco-friendly as it reduces waste.

Most kitchen surfaces such as laminate, solid wood (like Clive Christian or Harvey Jones),  MDF, hand-built cabinets—as well as previously hand-painted kitchens, can be sprayed, however all surfaces must be properly prepared before spraying for the best results.

Kitchen spraying offers a range of benefits including cost-effectiveness, a wide variety of colour choices, faster turnaround time compared to replacement, and the ability to customise finishes.

The duration can vary based on the size of the kitchen, the number of cabinets, and the complexity of the job. However, on average, it generally takes 5-7 days to complete the spraying process.
